White Buff Shoulder Bayonet Belt
Standard issue for War of 1812 British soldiers. This shoulder belt requires a belt plate sold separately, (see brass items). Leather is white buff imported from England. Hand sewn.
A measurement from the frog top to the center of the chest is very helpful in sizing this belt. The frog should be slightly behind as not to obstruct the musket when at attention.

Short Sword Belt
Standard British officer white buff short sword belt issued in the War of 1812. This is hand sewn. A shoulder plate is required to complete the belt, (see brass section).

Double Frog Shoulder Belt
This shoulder belt was designed for the Rev War period; the first slot normally carried a bayonet and the second slot carried a hatchet. Leather is white buff imported from England and is hand sewn.
The shoulder belt can also be ordered that is designed for a shoulder plate. Please specify when ordering. Shoulder plates are under the brass section.

English Rev War Double Frog Belt
English Style White Buff Double Frog Waist or Shoulder Belt - Original belt was worn around the waist but both the French and English in North America almost immediately started to wear their belts over the shoulder. Lower unit usually held an axe and the upper unit the bayonet.

18 shot wood block with leather cover. The wood is made from clear hard wood. The cover can be gold embossed with either George 2nd (F&I War) or George 3rd (Rev War).The block is attached to the waist by an one inch belt. A bayonet hanger is too available. Specify your waist measurement. Historically, the belt loops are on the outside of the wood block which sometimes causes problems of tip over. I can, if requested mount loop holders on the inside of the wood block.

29 shot British Cartridge Box
This was adopted during the Rev War and lasted in militia units through to the War of 1812. It often replaced the Rawls Cartridge 36 shot flip over box which had issues with soldiers accidently dumping out their cartridges when attempting to “flipping over”. There is a compartment under the fixed block for tools, flints, rags and more cartridges. Access is gained through a small leather flap. Other designs include a removable wood block with a tin tray under or a removable block with a wood platform under. In these cases the front has a small pocket for flints.

36 shot or Rawls Cartridge Box
This was adopted during the Rev War and lasted in militia units through to the War of 1812. It is also known as the "flip-over" cartridge box which had issues with soldiers accidently dumping out their cartridges when attempting to “flipping over”. There is a compartment at the front for extra flints. The wood block has 18 holes on each end and the soldier flips the wood block over during battle to reach the bottom rows of cartridges.

10 shot design with front pockets for flints and inner flap. Leather is dyed reddish brown and has white leather sewn around the outer edge. An anchor or French cross adorns the cover.

French Marine Shoulder Cartridge Box
30 shot cartridge box with inner flaps similar to the belly box but holding 30 cartridges. The cover is bordered with white leather and an anchor is sewn in the center of the cover. A white buff shoulder strap is attached to the box and it has one buckle for height adjustment. Two pockets are in the front for flints and tools. The leather is dyed a reddish brown.
